It was built on the tradition of the family dental practice of Dr. Željko and Dubravka Blažević, founded in the early 1990s, which was then succeeded by Dr. Alka Blažević Baranović’s specialist practice.

The practice is located in Josipa Kozarca Street no.4 in Slavonski Brod, near the “Little Church” (Church of Our Lady of Prompt Succor) and the Slavonski Brod’s market.

If you do not live in Slavonski Brod, we offer you the possibility of organizing accommodation in one of the hotels in addition to planning the time needed to perform all dental procedures.

She was born in 1978 in Slavonski Brod. After finishing primary and general secondary school in Slavonski Brod, she was admitted to the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Zagreb where she graduated in 2001. After completing her residency, she specialized in orthodontics at the School of Dental Medicine in Zagreb, and she opened her private dental practice in 2008.

During her career, she has completed further training in the area of aesthetic dental medicine and orthodontics.

She has attended orthodontics courses in temporary anchorage devices (mini orthodontic appliances), all types of self-litigating systems, Invisalign systems, and has been using these in everyday work at the 2 DENT Polyclinic. Dr. Alka Blažević Baranović speaks English and German.

He was born in 1976 in Zadar. After finishing primary and general secondary school in Šibenik, he was admitted to the School of Dental Medicine in Zagreb. He graduated in 2000 and after finishing his residency, he completed a 3.5-year specialization in oral surgery, also at the School of Dental Medicine in Zagreb. He has been an employee of the General Hospital “Dr. Josip Benčević” since 2001, and has also been working at the private dental medicine practice Baranović.

During his specialization, he completed a master’s degree programme of dental medicine, and also enrolled in a doctoral study programme of dental medicine in 2011. During his career, he has attended numerous training courses in the area of implantology and dental reconstructive surgery.

He has also attended courses in advanced implantology. In his work he currently uses implant systems by famous world brands, as well as advanced systems of biologically centrifuged membranes (PRGF). He is also the opinion leader (expert) for Dentegris and Avinent.

Dr. Marijan Baranović was chosen by patients as the best doctor in 2015 and 2016.

Dr. Marijan Baranović speaks English and Italian.

Nataša Mrkalj was born in Slavonski Brod in 1974, where she finished a secondary nursing school.

She has been employed at the Baranović practice since 1996. High level of professional expertise for work in dental medicine.

Area of work: all branches of dental medicine with many years of experience in the area of oral surgery and orthodontics.

Nataša Mrkalj is a licenced dental assistant.
